Shed Hunting

Every spring, the moose and deer that made it through the season drop their antlers across the same country we hunt all fall. We know where they winter, and we know where to look. No license, no lottery, no rifle: just good boots, sharp eyes, and a dog that finds bone you’d walk right past.

Timone is our shed dog. He covers ten miles for every one of yours and winds antlers hiding in cover you’d never think to check.

Common Questions

Most hunts involve hiking and covering ground, but we can always adjust to accommodate different physical abilities.

Bring broken in-in boots, quiet clothing, and layers appropriate for the season. September hunts are often warm and wet, so pack extra socks and an extra pair of boots.

We strongly recommend Barnes bullets or premium bonded, trophy-grade bullets.

Our accommodations are comfortable and cozy, designed for a real hunting experience. You’ll enjoy home-cooked meals and all the amenities you need.

Most moose are quartered in the field for efficient recovery and to improve meat quality. We transport your moose to a tagging station and out preferred local butcher.

All guided hunts are for two hunters and include transportation during the hunt and during recovery. Full packages include lodging, with meal options depending on the package.
